Important Notes

Each report will be stored in a file named detail_month-day-year@hours_minutes_seconds.csv (e.g. detail_01-24-2006@02_50_32.csv) in your My Documents folder by default (e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents). The file date/time info is the date/time when the report was run. If there is no report data then a file is not created. You can change the folder where the report will be stored by configuring the add-in settings as specified in steps 8-9 above.

After a report has run successfully (i.e. all data stored to disk successfully), BizTrackIt will mark the time records included in the report as Reported. Eventually you’ll probably want to delete all the reported time records on your handheld to free up memory; to do this select the BizTrackIt Delete Reported menu item and follow the prompt.

If you run into an error (e.g. out of disk space) while running a report a .tmp or .err file may be created in the report folder with some data in it (depending on when the error occurs), but BizTrackIt will not mark any of the time records as Reported so when you resolve the problem and run the report again these time records should be included (assuming you haven’t changed the report options in such a way that those time records no longer match the criteria of the report).

In case any errors occur while synchronizing reports to your PC we log troubleshooting information and all displayed messages to the file:

C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync\PIN\RIMSync.log

where user_name and PIN represent your Windows user name and your BlackBerry device PIN respectively.
